Scope:
The FashionCareerFairs.com recruiting events are focused on the fashion-related industries. Degreed candidates with experience in the apparel, accessories, footwear, textiles, home fashion, and corporate retail market segments are encouraged to attend. Typical job functions/titles include (but are not limited to) the following: Designers Technical Designers CAD/Graphic Designers Print/Surface Designs Textile Designers Product Managers Production/Mfg Pattern Makers Marking/Grading Colorists PDM Specialists Sourcing/Quality Corporate Visuals Brand Manager Line Builders Buyers Merchandisers Planners/Allocators Stylists Account Reps NOTE: The FashionCareerFairs.com recruiting events ARE NOT for store-level retail candidates. Admission Policies:
NEW YORK ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Candidates are required to have a 4 year degree and a minimum of 2 years fashion industry experience - OR - a 2 year degree and 4 years fashion industry experience - OR - the equivalent in fashion industry work experience. Sorry, store-level retail does not count as industry experience. Only candidates with corporate and district/regional level education/experience need attend. LOS ANGELES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Candidates are required to have a 4 year degree in a fashion-specific discipline - OR - a 2 year degree and 2 years fashion industry experience - OR - 4 years fashion industry work experience. By pre-registering for the career fair, you will save time the day of the event. Compared to on-site registrants, pre-registered candidates will wait in line an average of 45 minutes less! For those job seekers who do not know if they meet our minimum requirements, pre-registration is a way to find out if you are eligible to attend.
